JOY + Firebird - live premiere screening

Part of FUSE@Large, Fine Lines presents a live screening of two special dance films made in 2021 and 2022. Firebird (2021) is an exploration of unrelenting desire for more. JOY (2022) celebrates the smaller things that sustain us in challenging times. Both films were created during the global coronavirus pandemic (2020-2022). Together they show the extremes of human emotion in the most locked down city in the world. The fear and courage, isolation and connection, struggle and acceptance, the ravages of fire and the healing sound of water.
